A photographic series that explores construction-related “installations,” and how they interact with the interstitial spaces of parking lots and thresholds. Taken in and around Washington, D.C., on Black Friday; some of the photographs later formed the basis of a book about the reinvention of the brick-and-mortar shopping mall. For Digital Photography at Yale.
