A running compendium of tweets that monitors @realDonaldTrump’s evolving use of the word “fake” over time. Trump attributes his political success to Twitter, which has facilitated his efforts to brand himself as an “unfiltered” truth-teller and circumvent inconvenient facts by denigrating the mainstream media. The compendium is accompanied by @realDonaldInfo, a bot I created that retweets every mention of Trump by the so-called Fake News Media. The two feeds engage in relentless back-and-forth, generating a continuous feedback loop of news.
