Bulletin Board #5 was a response to the vandalization of statements supporting sexual assault survivors posted on four campus bulletin boards by Yale undergraduates on the day of Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing; the posters were torn down repeatedly by a Yale Divinity School student who claimed to be exercising his freedom of speech. The installation was a partial reenactment of the undergraduates’ rapid-response (re)postering, reinterpreted through the now-iconic words of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. The back of the board displayed the October 1, 2018, front-page Yale Daily News story, Student Vandalizes #MeToo Posters. Exhibited in Run What You Brung: MFA 2020 First-Year Show at the Yale School of Art.
