Intended as a companion to GAWA, NASA, Intercepted pairs randomized strings of NASA acronyms with audio clips from an onboard recording of Apollo 8, whose three astronauts captured the first color photograph of Earth from outer space, known as Earthrise, on December 24, 1968, and helped catalyze the environmental movement. Clicking on an acronym generates new strings, which come to resemble cryptic poetry or signals floating in the night sky.
